   Whether you enjoy doing any thing with a group or by yourself, joining any organization related to the things that you are interested in has enormous benefits!

   As a VBAS Member, you'll have opputunrities to learn about Astronomy as well as share your knowledge with other Members and the general public at various Member and Public events.

   You'll also be entitled to lower rates on subscriptions to popular astronomy magazines!  Current VBAS Member rates for Sky and Telescope is $32.95 per year and $34 for Astronomy.

   In addition to being able to use the telescopes at our Observatories and free admission to any of our public planetarium programs, you'll also have access to our Library which consist of one of the largest collections of astronomy related publications in the Southeast!
